This is a fantastic video shot by DMS550's Dad, Paul as RVB977S - better known as the Pride Of Thanet- passed through the Dartford Tunnel en route to North Weald.
On Sunday 10th June 2012 we attended the Thanet Road Run in our Titan 'Nuw'. Just the two buses were there this year, us and Paul Houselander in RVB977S The Pride Of Thanet open top. The run commenced at Ramsgate and passed through Broadstairs, St Peters, Palm Bay, Margate and Westgate where we stopped for lunch. We then continued onwards to Minnis Bay before returning via Minster, Manston airport, Westwood Bus Garage and finishing back in Ramsgate. A full report and pictures to follow soon.
Following on from the conversation about The Italian Job film, here is the same film with a more appropriate soundtrack! I know this was used at the beginning of the original film and not the end when the coach goes over the edge, (sorry if I've spoiled the ending for anyone!) so we've swapped a Lamborghini Miura for a Bristol LH and 'Big William' is played by Andy Watkins.
Another video of 3131, again with Andy at the wheel as he takes her down the notorious Winchelsea hairpin along with some thoughts on the classic film 'The Italian Job'!
This was filmed coming back from Hastings Bus Rally yesterday as Andy drove 3131 back through the East Sussex countryside.
Nuw captured on Claire's Blackberry thrashing down the M2 motorway in Kent.
No really a video OF the coach but more of a video FROM the coach. This was filmed from the back window of 3131 as she headed to Wood's of Aylesham for a project by her owner, Bernard.
Always good to see another VR enter preservation. This is ex Crosville YMB512W which was Arriva's last Bristol VR and worked in Rhyl in North Wales. Here's a couple of YouTube videos of the old girl, one of her in preservation and one of her in service.
